Hi everyone! Tammy and I wish all of you a very happy and safe New Year! It’s been quite a year and we’re looking forward to another great year ahead (despite the picture – haha)… May God bless each of you and your families. Remember, don’t let your heart be troubled! God remains in control and He gives good things to those that seek Him and walk in His truth!
Happy New Year,
Dave & Tammy
Proverbs 28:10 – Those who lead good people along an evil path will fall into their own trap, but the honest will inherit good things.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 – So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of His call. May He give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.
Philippians 4:4-9 (The Message) – Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute! Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious–the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
1 Peter 1:3-7 What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven–and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all–life healed and whole. I know how great this makes you feel, even though you have to put up with every kind of aggravation in the meantime. Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine. When Jesus wraps this all up, it’s your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.
There is much to look forward to for the future when our lives remain hidden in Christ Jesus!!! Be of good cheer and may God bless each and every one of you!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS!!!!
